It is well-organized with a long row of sunbeds and umbrellas stretching to the end of the beach while you can also track some beautiful and more private spots. Despite the great arrival of tourists here, the rocky landscape offers a feeling of nice isolation. A couple of beach bars are found right on the beach.

The unique beauty of Egremni is one of the most photographed landscapes in the world and it offers an ideal swimming experience. Approximately 325 steps lead down to this wonderful beach. The journey down is very pleasant as delightful views of the beach itself appear.

The high mountains that abound in Lefkada are the sources for many a waterfalls that cascades through the mountainous terrain and finally ending up into the sea. One such gorgeous cascading waterfall is the Dimossari waterfall that can be found on the outskirts of Nydri. It ends up into a gorge which is replete with white rocks.

The name Dimossari has derived from the word Dimos, which used to be the ancient state where numerous watermills were found. During the summer season, when the temperature gets really hot, tourists come to the Dimosari Waterfalls to relieve themselves from the sweltering heat and many of them can be seen swimming in the crystal clear waters of the lakes which can be found among the rocky contours.

The trail on foot to the waters along the silhouette of the pine trees is splendid. Very near to the Dimossari Waterfalls is the seaside village of Nydri. Ideally a visit to the Dimossari waterfalls should coincide with a visit to this picturesque Lefkada village which is replete with quality hotels, restaurants and tavernas all geared up to pamper the discerning traveler.
